Oregon does a wonderful job of blending very elegant and interesting concrete bridges and barriers into a extremely natural and beautiful setting along the old Columbia River Gorge Highway.
Credit for making this one of the best Fall drives anywhere.
Wahclella Fall was one of the falls along the Columbia River Gorge I was wanting to visit since a crazy man in a Hostel told me about it. No Shit, he was really crazy. But, his recommendation was absolutely brilliant.
A wonderful trip to McMenamins Edgefield in Oregon was incredibly timely. We experienced the grape harvest, wine making on top of beautiful Autumn colors.
All the fallen leaves around the maple in my parents yard overlaid the lawn with a natural Fall carpet. I thought the variance in the color would convey nicely in black and white for a change.
It was this or a princess. Really... A princess? I wanted to say "Yes!" like a great Daddy, but it just didn't seem like a realistic endeavor with my lack of expertise in pumpkin carving.
Today I tested the camera in my new iPhone in a popular dimly lit barbecue restaurant. I am amazed at how much detail I get without a flash. I'm sure glad we took the iPhone out for a test. Yummy!
My Dad got a new remote controlled race car. It's fast... very fast. All I could capture was him tearing up the leaves and grass with this thing. The only time it stopped long enough was after he ran it into me. Go figure.
Another Great Blue Heron let me get very close to get this amazing profile shot. I can't promise I won't post another photo of a Heron. They seem to come very easy for some reason and I love them.
