Day 302 of 365

The bow of this tug had rope that was so frayed out that it resembled an old man beard and mustache.

Day 301 of 365

Oregon does a wonderful job of blending very elegant and interesting concrete bridges and barriers into a extremely natural and beautiful setting along the old Columbia River Gorge Highway.

Credit for making this one of the best Fall drives anywhere.

Day 300 of 365

Wahclella Fall was one of the falls along the Columbia River Gorge I was wanting to visit since a crazy man in a Hostel told me about it. No Shit, he was really crazy. But, his recommendation was absolutely brilliant.

A wonderful trip to McMenamins Edgefield in Oregon was incredibly timely. We experienced the grape harvest, wine making on top of beautiful Autumn colors.

Day 298 of 365

If you look close enough at things it can be amazing what you see. From a distance this was nothing, but up close it's truly something to gawk at.

Day 297 of 365

It's always fun to look at the reflections in the waters at the marina. Some of the stupidest things can still look pretty cool.

Overlaid

Day 296 of 365

All the fallen leaves around the maple in my parents yard overlaid the lawn with a natural Fall carpet. I thought the variance in the color would convey nicely in black and white for a change.

I post this picture because it is my daughters favorite toy in the whole world and she asked me to take his picture with my camera.

Day 290 of 365

It was this or a princess. Really... A princess? I wanted to say "Yes!" like a great Daddy, but it just didn't seem like a realistic endeavor with my lack of expertise in pumpkin carving.

Maybe next year.

Day 288 of 365

Today I tested the camera in my new iPhone in a popular dimly lit barbecue restaurant. I am amazed at how much detail I get without a flash. I'm sure glad we took the iPhone out for a test. Yummy!

Day 287 of 365

My Dad got a new remote controlled race car. It's fast... very fast. All I could capture was him tearing up the leaves and grass with this thing. The only time it stopped long enough was after he ran it into me. Go figure.

My attempt at the perfect burger. Take 1/3 pork, 2/3 ground beef, stuff in with Gorgonzola cheese and top it off with glazed sweet onions.

Sound good? You have no idea until you try to wrap you mouth around this 8 inch tall monster.

Street Tacos

Day 273 of 365

This is definitely one of my favorite lunches ever. The wonderful El Salvadoran street vendor that makes the most amazing tacos and pupusas.

A must try any Monday, Wednesday or Friday up the hill from the PSNS gate in downtown Bremerton.
