I just wanted to share what I saw this morning from the Bremerton Harborside Marina.

Day 365 of 365

I end this 365 project as I began, with sunlight. I was uncertain to close with breathing the light as the sun rose on the last day, just as I did on the first, or breathing out the light as the sun set on the year that has past. I digressed and used both.

Each photo at either end of the day had me standing alone in tranquil and peaceful locations with nearly a sound except my own thoughts. I reflected on a year that has been one of the most tumultuous of my 40.

When I review these pictures I can see beauty, love, loss, humor, fragility and creativity just to name a few. I will always have 365 photos that will remind me of what took place as I rounded the corner into my 40th year.

Thank you to those who kept watch and supported me throughout. Very few know how hard this really is any how many times it came close to being a failure.


As for 2012

I simply resolve to be a better man, Father, and most important, Husband. I will strive to improve my health for the sake of each one.
