Miniature Faking / Tilt-Shift

Miniature faking is a post-processing technique, which involves selectively blurring a photo to simulate the narrow depth of field found in macro photography and some tilt-shift photography, making the image appear to be of a miniature model.

  1. I love these!!
We had some ads on TV here that were made the same way... Beautiful views of Sydney, but I could not work out for a while it they were models or some kind of clever photography. Turned out to be the latter.
Very clever and very cool :)
